Riverbend Agility Dogs, Inc. (RAD) is located in the Bitterroot Valley. We moved here from the Bozeman area where we ran Black Dog Ranch Training Center. We offer agility and obedience training as well as behavior counseling.
RAD uses positive training methods, including clicker training, to teach you how to talk to your dog in a language he can understand.
RAD offers private and group agility lessons at our location in Stevensville. Obedience lessons and behavior counseling are available at our place, or we will come to your home.
Jackie Loeser is the first dog trainer in Montana to become a Certified Pet Dog Trainer. She is qualified to teach basic and advanced obedience, and puppy classes. Jackie also teaches tracking, scent discrimination and agility. She is a skilled behavior counselor and has experience in dealing with aggression problems. Jackie has been working with dogs since 1980. While in college she worked part time at a boarding kennel. She has also worked at several veterinary hospitals as a veterinary technician. Jackie has served as president of her local Humane Society and now runs her own non-profit rescue, Bangtail Dog Rescue. Jackie served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers for 6 years and is a judge for the North American Dog Agility Council (NADAC). She has competed at the NADAC Championships with her dogs every year since 2003. Jackie's dog Risk won the 16 inch Proficient Division at the NADAC Championships in Gillette, Wyoming in 2010 and placed 3rd in Silver Stakes at the 2011 Championships in Springfield, Illinois.
